Jacqueline Young has over 28 years of IS/IT consulting experience. She has worked in both the public and private sectors for such companies as Raymond James Ltd., Nutrien, Compugen (Cernovus, Reliance Home Comfort), Ministry of Health, Ministry of Consumer/Commercial Relations, Attorney/Solicitor General, Brookfield Properties, Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA), Transat AP/Jonview, RBC, Scotia, CIBC, BMO Harris, HBC, McDonalds, Canada Life, Loblaw, ADP Payroll, and Toyota. Her roles have included Senior Business Analyst/BSA, Team Lead, Project Manager, and Coordinator. Her responsibilities have spanned all facets of the Project and System development life cycles, resulting in a deep understanding of their respective methodologies.

 

Jacqueline has been an active member of the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) since March, 2004. During this time, she’s held various leadership positions, most recently as VP Global Volunteers. Jacqueline also co-authored the IIBA’s Body of Knowledge (Enterprise Analysis version 1.6); designed educational courses for Business Analysts and Quality Assurance professionals and was a speaker at the Business Analyst World Conference and Toronto’s Tech Week Career Day. 

 

Jacqueline’s career has allowed her to work with all levels of business and successfully manage relationships across stakeholders, external clients and vendors. Her work experience has included everything from system enhancements to large programs involving digital implementation, business process re-engineering, strategic initiatives, cloud, and conversion/migration. Her deliverables have included all Business Analyst related artifacts and tasks. In addition to her expertise in facilitation, JAD sessions, requirements workshops, Jacqueline has been successful in her career utilizing tools and techniques like UML, User Stories, Use Cases, Process flows, gap/feasibility analysis, data mapping, project and resource planning, and other related artifacts. 

Jacqueline possesses excellent oral and written communication skills that allow her to develop clear, concise, and accurate documentation. She initiates and maintains collaborative working relationships with her team, stakeholders, executives and vendors.
